A Dream Becomes Reality
We are very happy to announce that we are expanding into the building next door! After opening our center just over three years ago, our fearless leader Christine Pellegrino, M.S., L.Ac has taken the next step to expand our team, our space, and our healing capabilities. We are so grateful for this opportunity to have the Pellegrino vision of healing as many people as possible come to fruition. We are thrilled about how this expansion has come together and we are so excited to share our progress with you along with the story of how this all came to be.
Christine Pellegrino, M.S., L.Ac, Founder, Owner and Lead Acupuncturist of Pellegrino Healing Center & Integrative Cancer Center, shares her thoughts and feelings on the expansion:
“Just over three years ago, I decided to move out of my small rented acupuncture space in Kingston and Hopewell Junction to take on an entire building in Hyde Park, now known as Pellegrino Healing Center. I took a huge leap of faith in my dreams of helping more people by expanding my practice and hiring other dedicated and talented healers. My vision and purpose was shared by my growing team, evolving and enriching the impact of our work. The growth of not just my practice, but that of the center, in just three years still amazes me. Reaching capacity in our current building has led me to take another big step forward to expand our space, our collective vision, and our ability to help others.”

The Start of Expansion
After the well-deserved retirement of chiropractor Robert Exelbert, DC, Christine Pellegrino, M.S., L.Ac is happy to announce the purchase of the building next to Pellegrino Healing Center. Christine now officially owns both buildings on the property, allowing our businesses to grow and flourish. We will soon be able to expand our available space, fulfill the increasing demand for our services, and accommodate our growing businesses.
Owen Brewster, DC, will still be operating out of our newly purchased building, continuing to practice his excellent chiropractic services and to serve his clientele. While Brewster Chiropractic and Pellegrino Healing Center/Pellegrino Integrative Cancer Center have always worked side by side inter-referring patients, we will remain separate entities even with the Pellegrino expansion. Continuing Dr. Exelbert’s vision to help and heal people through holistic care, Christine Pellegrino, M.S., L.Ac and Owen Brewster, DC will carry-on Dr. Exelbert’s legacy.

Dr. Exelbert practiced as a chiropractor for over 40 years. He has been an integral part of this community, helping so many heal and stay well for decades. With his kind and welcoming personality, impressive practitioner skill set, and drive to help others, Dr. Bob has made a positive and lasting impact on so many lives.

Meet Dr. Brewster
The Exelbert Chiropractic building that you know and love today opened in Hyde Park in 1990. About twenty years later, in 2011, Dr. Owen Brewster joined Dr. Exelbert's practice. Upholding Dr. Exelbert’s top-tier level of care, Dr. Brewster brought his own superb skill set and style to the practice. In 2015, Dr. Brewster purchased the business from Dr. Exelbert. Brewster Chiropractic was born with its mission to continue to provide exceptional chiropractic care to the community.
Brewster’s love for chiropractic care was fostered at an early age after receiving life-changing chiropractic treatment following a motorcycle accident. His passion for his work is notable and his positive intentions for our expansion uphold a united vision of longevity and healing.
“Chiropractic care is an incredible catalyst for healing, setting improvement and recovery into motion immediately. Since the age of 14, I knew I wanted to be a chiropractor. After seeing how impactful chiropractic care was for my own recovery after injury, I was inspired to help others in the same way. I wake up every day excited to go to work so that I can continue to help others relieve their pain, improve their mobility, and take back their health. I am looking forward to this new chapter of working alongside the Pellegrino team. Although we are separate businesses, our work together in this space will maximize our ability to help our community and carry on Dr. Exelbert’s great legacy.”

As we expand into our neighboring building, we want to share with you how we will identify each space. The building that Pellegrino Healing Center & Pellegrino Integrative Cancer Center currently operate out of will be known as Building B. The building next door that we have acquired (and the building Dr. Brewster has always operated out of) will be known as Building A. Please be on the lookout for further instructions and updates on this exciting expansion and transition. We are truly grateful for this opportunity to grow, renovate, and help more people.
