Christine Pellegrino M.S., L.Ac
"In today’s world we are all on a pilgrimage to optimal health, facing life’s obstacles of stress, illness, and injury. I created Pellegrino Healing Center as a wellness destination for healing, rest and relaxation."
Founder, Owner, and Director of Pellegrino Healing Center, Christine Pellegrino, M.S., L.Ac aspires to treat, heal, and uplift a multitude of people. She received her Master of Science in Acupuncture from the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine and she has a dense background in healthcare and alternative medicine. Christine has spent countless hours building and expanding her business in order to elevate the healing experience for recovery and well-being for everyone that walks through the door.
Christine has a very intuitive approach to healing. She practices a combination of Japanese Kiiko style, Traditional Chinese Medicine, 5 Element and Trigger Point Acupuncture. She utilizes a unique Japanese style which she learned from world renowned Master Kiiko Matsumoto. The techniques that Christine employs are done to find the specific treatment modalities and acupuncture points that will resolve your specific concerns and help your body be brought into balance. Her method addresses the entire person in order to get to the root of the problem.
Having worked with diverse populations including cancer patients, veterans, children, athletes, people with disabilities, pregnant women, and almost anyone who has pain or discomfort, she recognizes that no two patients are the same. Even when some people have the same symptoms, she understands that each individual is unique, therefore creating a tailored healing experience.
Catherine Cusumano M.S., L.aC
“Having practiced massage prior to acupuncture, I am well trained in kinesiology; the study of bone, muscle, tendon and ligament. I add this structural knowledge to the art of acupuncture and it allows me to help people resolve the root cause of
their structural pain.”
Catherine Cusumano, M.S., L.Ac brings over 20 years of experience in health and human services
to Pellegrino Healing Center. Catherine is what could be referred to as a well-balanced alternative medicine practitioner. Her past includes practicing reiki and massage for several years. After becoming an acupuncture patient herself, and experiencing the extraordinary healing effect and reversal of her symptoms, she decided to pursue a career in acupuncture. In 2004, Catherine received her Master of Science in acupuncture from the Tri-State College of Acupuncture in NYC, studying Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as Japanese and trigger point release style. Catherine also pursued her passion for nutrition. In 2011, she completed her nutrition certificate at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
Having successfully treated depression, anxiety, insomnia, digestive issues, respiratory imbalances, infertility, irregular menstruation, and more, Catherine feels the main focus of her practice is pain management. If you've had an accident, slip and fall or any kind of physical trauma, surgery pain and recovery symptoms, back, neck and leg pain, Catherine can help you.
