NUTRiTIONAL THERAPY
Personalized Nutritional Therapy in Hyde Park, NY & the Hudson Valley

Meet Jackie, our Nutritional Therapy Practitioner
Jackie Kohlmaier, NTP, is a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner trained and certified in the principles of bio-individual nutrition and foundational health.

She supports patients by focusing on nutrient-dense, whole foods and the body’s innate ability to heal when properly nourished. Jackie works with a functional, root-cause approach, helping you move beyond symptom-chasing and instead address the underlying patterns affecting your health.
Rather than asking, “How do we manage this symptom?” Jackie asks, “What is the body not getting what it needs to function optimally?”

Together, you’ll work to restore balance by supporting the body’s core physiological foundations, gently, practically, and sustainably.

What is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional Therapy is a foundational approach to health that emphasizes properly prepared, nutrient-dense foods and supporting the body’s key systems. A Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP), trained through the Nutritional Therapy Association, takes a bio-individual approach, meaning recommendations are tailored to your body, history, lifestyle, and unique needs.
Nutritional Therapy focuses on supporting the body’s foundations, including:
-
Digestion and nutrient absorption
-
Blood sugar regulation
-
Sleep
-
Stress resilience
-
A nutrient-dense, whole-food diet
Together, you’ll identify areas that may be out of balance and explore realistic, sustainable nutrition and lifestyle changes to support your health. This may include replenishing nutrients through whole foods, supporting digestion and absorption, and building habits that are realistic for your everyday life.

Nutritional Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all plan. It is a collaborative process designed to support long-term health, resilience, and overall wellbeing.

Sessions are available in person or via telehealth for remote patients.
What to Expect
Discovery Call
Start with a complimentary discovery call to get to know Jackie and learn more about her approach to nutritional therapy. You’ll share what brings you to nutritional therapy, your goals, and what you’re hoping to achieve. This is an opportunity for both of you to determine whether Jackie is the right fit for you.
Initial Intake
If you decide to move forward, your initial visit includes a comprehensive intake and review of your health and lifestyle history, along with your completed paperwork. Between your discovery call and initial visit, you’ll also complete a detailed food and mood journal, which helps Jackie better understand your current eating habits, lifestyle, and relationship with food.
Personalized Recommendations
Your next visit is focused on recommendations tailored specifically to you. Together, you’ll look at your goals, current lifestyle, eating habits, and mindset to identify meaningful changes that feel realistic and attainable.
Three-Month Program or Flexible Support
For those who want ongoing guidance and accountability, Jackie offers a three-month program designed to support meaningful, sustainable change.
Prefer a more flexible approach? You can also work with Jackie through individual sessions, allowing you to choose the support that best fits your needs and goals.
A Personalized Approach to Better Health
Whether you choose the three-month program or individual sessions, Jackie’s goal is to work collaboratively with you to make attainable, impactful changes through nutrition and lifestyle, helping you move closer to your health goals in a way that works for your life.
