Catherine Cusumano, M.S., L.Ac.
Licensed Acupuncturist
“Having practiced massage prior to acupuncture, I am well trained in kinesiology; the study of bone, muscle, tendon and ligament. I add this structural knowledge to the art of acupuncture and it allows me to help people resolve the root cause of their structural pain.”

A Bit About Catherine
Catherine Cusumano, M.S., L.Ac., is a seasoned Licensed Acupuncturist and holistic practitioner with over 20 years of experience in health and human services. At Pellegrino Healing Center, Catherine integrates her diverse expertise to deliver personalized care that addresses both physical and emotional well-being.
Catherine’s journey into alternative medicine began with her practice of Reiki and massage therapy. She later expanded her skill set by becoming a certified craniosacral therapist, completing her training in Seattle, WA. Her passion for acupuncture was sparked after experiencing its transformative effects firsthand as a patient, leading her to pursue a Master of Science in Acupuncture from the Tri-State College of Acupuncture in NYC. There, she trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Japanese acupuncture, and trigger point release techniques.
In addition to acupuncture, Catherine pursued her interest in nutrition by earning a certificate from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2011. Her comprehensive approach to healing allows her to address a wide range of conditions, including depression, anxiety, insomnia, digestive issues, respiratory imbalances, infertility, irregular menstruation, and more. However, Catherine’s primary focus is pain management—whether it stems from accidents, physical trauma, surgery recovery, or chronic issues such as back, neck, or leg pain.
Catherine’s commitment to holistic care is reflected in her ability to combine multiple modalities to restore balance and promote healing. Her treatments are tailored to each patient’s unique needs, ensuring compassionate and effective care for total wellness.
