Sue Mayfield, RN.
Registered Nurse
"I am grateful to work in a place where empathy is encouraged, time is taken to listen, and every individual is seen as more than a diagnosis. This healing center allows me to practice oncology nursing in a way that aligns with my values and reinforces why I chose this profession—to bring hope, support, and healing to those who need it most."
A Bit About Sue
Sue Mayfield, RN, brings over 15 years of oncology nursing experience to our team, with extensive expertise in IV infusion therapy and compassionate, patient-centered care. A graduate of Dutchess Community College with an associate’s degree in nursing, Sue built her career at Optum Medical, where she worked for 15 years specializing in oncology and infusion services. Originally from the Bronx, she now calls the Hudson Valley home and is passionate about supporting patients and their families through every step of treatment.
Outside of work, Sue enjoys hiking local trails, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and getting lost in a good book. She also loves spending time with her bulldog puppy, Rosie, who keeps her active and laughing.
