Fundraising Self-Care Event for Women

When local community member and American Heart Association's Woman of Impact nominee Dora Visbeck asked if we wanted to be a part of her campaign to raise funds for "Go Red for Women" we were honored. As part of Dora's campaign, she asked us to host a self-care event for women. 

About the Self-Care Event for Women

Come to Pellegrino Healing Center on Sunday, March 10, 2024 and experience a great day filled with wonderful  treatments and lessons on self-care that participants can carry with them into their everyday life. 

You will learn and experience stress management techniques to help you relax, a mini acupuncture session, complimentary B12 shots, and more.

Learn strategies for living a healthier lifestyle. You will leave armed with a new perspective on self-care and actionable ways to continue their practice  – an invaluable gift that keeps on giving.

50% of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the American Heart Association. Pellegrino Healing Center will not be profiting off of this event.

Since 2004, the American Heart Association’s signature women's initiative, Go Red for Women, has addressed the awareness and clinical care gaps of women’s greatest health threat, cardiovascular disease. They are prepared to meet the evolving needs of women now, and at every age, every stage and every season of their lives as their trusted, relevant source for credible, equitable health solutions.

About Woman of Impact

Every year across the country, a select group of individuals are nominated to be a part of Woman of Impact because of their passion and drive to make a difference. This 9-week blind competition is relentlessly focused on women’s heart health. Launching on National Wear Red Day (2/2/24) nominees work to build campaign plans, recruit Impact teams, and inspire their networks to support the American Heart Association’s lifesaving mission.

At the end of the campaign, this special group of changemakers will be celebrated for the overall impact they have on our mission and community. The nominee who makes the greatest impact and raises the most funds locally will be named a local 2024 Woman of Impact Winner. Additionally, the nominee who makes the greatest impact nationwide will be named the American Heart Association 2024 National Woman of Impact Winner.
