Heather

Heather is a compassionate individual with a strong desire to help others. Originally from the Midwest, her warm and welcoming nature, combined with a robust work ethic, made her an excellent fit for the role of Patient Care Coordinator and Therapy Assistant at our facility. Prior to joining us, Heather gained valuable experience working at the front end of a busy medical office in the Hudson Valley, where she honed her skills in customer service, prior authorization, medical insurance, and staff training.Heather's background is diverse and rich with unique experiences.

 

A former drama student, she participated in high school plays and was active in her hometown's church choir. Her journey took an exciting turn when she joined the Walt Disney World College Program. During her time there, she worked her way into the entertainment department, creating cherished memories by helping to make magical wishes come true for children as part of the Make-A-Wish experience.

 

Passionate about supporting Veterans and individuals struggling with PTSD, Heather furthered her education in 2024 by completing courses at Syracuse University, earning certifications in "Cannabis Healthcare & Medicine" and "Cannabis Compliance & Risk Management." Under the mentorship of Dr. Diana Silverman, Heather now offers medical cannabis consultations, assisting those seeking to obtain a medical cannabis card with NY State.

 

Outside of her professional life, Heather enjoys spending time with her loved ones, reading, and going to the movies, activities that provide her with relaxation and joy. Heather's dedication to her work and her continuous pursuit of knowledge make her a valuable asset to our team and a beacon of support for those in need.
