Through the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center-Integrative Medicine Service "Fundamentals of Oncology" Acupuncture course, Christine Pellegrino is furthering her knowledge of scientifically-tested methods to care for cancer pain, fatigue, hot flashes, and neuropathy as well as cancer prevention, detection, treatment, and herb-drug interactions. This course provides acupuncturists with the knowledge to treat cancer-related side effects safely. Christine is also receiving advanced education on the management of lymphoma and leukemia as well as cancer of the breast, colon and rectum, lung, prostate, and other parts of the body.

Inga dedicated her life to helping others and her memory still touches the hearts of all of those who knew and loved her. Now, her essence will reach and help many more people with the Cancer Care Program that Pellegrino Healing Center has created in her name.
